Tourist guide The institute offers weekend lessons as advanced training and  further education to help participants to be qualified as tourist guide  and in this case to guarantee a unique and high standard in their job.  This basic qualification is therefore a profit for companies and  customers. Contents: - Basic law for tourist guides - Guidance from arrival to departure - Local area information (Embassy/consulate, doctor/dentist, pharmacy, hospital, fire brigade, police, public transport, taxi, car rental, bike rental, riding etc.) - Information about local offers (restaurants, museums, theatres, concerts, clubs/discotheques, sights, shopping malls, leisure areas etc.) - Country information (history, politics, religion, culture) - Sustainable tourism - Personal review and personal suitability with the client (including handicapped or blind people) - Methods and communication training - Speaking training - Acquisition/Marketing/Networking - Organization/administration and privacy booking The advanced training and further education for tourist guides is an  offer over two weekends with altogether 32 lessons; a lesson  contains 45 minutes. At the end of the second weekend the  participants presents and documents their new knowledge with a  practical part; this practical part is part of the whole weekend (and of  the mentioned 32 lessons).  Number of participants: 10 to 25 persons Costs: 350,00 €/participant Places: Berlin, London, Prishtine, Tirana

City-tour guide The institute offers in addition to the job as tourist  guide weekend lessons to qualify as city-tour-guide. At  the moment we offer education/training for the cities of  Berlin, London, and Tirana.  Contents: - Basic law for city-tour guides Geographic, ecological, and economical city- basics Local area information (Embassy/consulate, doctor/dentist, pharmacy, hospital, fire brigade, police, public transport, taxi, public administration/Parliament/Government) - City history - Architectural history - Religious life - Museums in the city - Specific tours and walks - Sustainable tourism Personal review and personal suitability with the client (including handicapped or blind people) - Methods and communication training - Speaking training - Acquisition/Marketing/Networking - Organization/administration and privacy booking The conditions for the advanced training/education,  number of participants, costs, and places are the same  as for tourist guides.
